MOVE MOUNTAINS

I have goosebumps writing this blog. It is extremely close to my heart.

Today, 7 July 2020, I realized my purpose - to introduce you to God through this product (And perhaps some of my future products, who knows 😊)

Something has been pressing against my heart for the last 2 weeks and I didn’t understand what is was. Now I know.

God has placed people on my path during the last few weeks which opened my eyes and made me realize I want to bring God into my business as He is my rock and the reason I am blessed and able to use my talents. (Thank you, Jeanri (Pretty Jane Shop), Simoné (ZOËT The Brand) and Suzelle (Little Crowns Mom Blog) for planting a seed of inspiration without even knowing it.)

Back to the soap - God worked his magic with me through the process of making this soap and introducing it to all of you. Yesterday I decided this soap will be named “Move Mountains”.

This soap symbolizes HOPE – making the impossible possible.

Whatever your mountain is, with God on your side nothing is impossible.

Without knowing the impact the name of this soap will have, I spoke to the mommy to be this morning who's baby room was painted with beautiful snow mountains and it was the theme of her baby shower as well. She did not know about the soap; her sister surprised her and all the guests with baby shower gifts last weekend.

When I told her the soap will be added to the Lanie Artisan Soap Collection and the reason why I chose the name for the soap, she was in tears. She told me they have been waiting 4 years to fall pregnant and that God indeed moved mountains for them during this time.

How amazing is that! Miracles are happening all around us we must just choose to see them.

My Mother was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer for a 2nd time on 18 June 2020 - that is her mountain and also me and my family’s mountain that we are facing, as we had to let it sink in and make peace with it and trust that God’s healing hand is over her where she starts her chemo journey today.

Due to lockdown and this virus my sister and I are not able to be with her as she is high risk and cannot get sick while on treatment. It breaks my heart to not be next to her, but I know He is there with her every step of the way and that comforts me.

Therefor this soap is called “Move Mountains” because if our faith is great enough, the impossible can be possible. You just have to believe.

So today I raise a Hallelujah (song) to each and every one of you. Don’t stop believing in miracles. There is one waiting to happen in your life.

Matthew 21:21

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.

All my love

Lanie
